| "If you're going to throw this town away Jack, then |

| "Bordertown is being held hostage, now are you going to help me or not?" |
| "You always said you could do this job without me." |
| get out - I don't want you here!" |
| The ombres taunt Jack as he leaves town. |
| "Hey marshal, you lookin' for another girl to kill?" |

| They attack Craddock, who doesn't fight back. |
 |
| Bennett fires a warning shot, "Get away from him!" |
| "Are you alright Jack? Jack!" |
| Craddock picks up his things and walks past without answering. |
| Marie rides out to Jack's camp where she finds him splitting wood. |

| "I know how you feel Jack, do you think I have never |
| lost a patient?" |
| "That's different, I felt the life go out of her Marie, |
| when I was carryin' her I felt her heart stop, my |
| bullet did that." |
| "Please come home Jack, Bordertown needs you". |
| Meanwhile back in town; the ombres threaten corporal Bennett, "You're alone now mountie, you |
| gotta sleep sometime, and when you do..." |

| Clive lets Couteau out of the cell: "Actually, I'm not |
| alone, meet Bordertown's new marshal, Gabriel Couteau." |
| "You help me out Couteau and I'll drop the charges." |

| There is commotion in the street, Bennett and his |
| new marshal go to work. |
 |

| Diane is taken hostage (Marie must have been |
| too busy). |
