| The corporal passes marshal Craddock his badge. |
| "So are you back on my side Jack?" |
| "Like a burr under your saddle." |

| Jack knocks on Marie's door. |
| "My wife wore this pin, looked right pretty on her." |
| "Why, thank you Jack, it's lovely." |
