| An ombre informs Zac that he holds half the mortgage, which makes him a partner in the |
| saloon. |
| Zac gets angry,"This is MY saloon!" |

| Clive arrests Gabriel Couteau for stealing a horse. |
| "That is MY horse corporal!" |

| The man pulls a gun on Zac and Jack jumps to his feet. |
| The saloon girl, Pearl, steps in front of him as he pulls the trigger. |

| Jack realizes what he has done. |
| He carries Pearl's body to Marie's, but she is already dead. |

| The marshal goes back to the detachment, and without a |
| word to Clive, starts clearing out his things. |
| He takes down his flag. |
| "Looks better already Jack." |

| Jack removes his holster and places his badge on the desk. |
| "Send word to Fort Benton you need a new marshal, I'm quittin'." |
| "Why?" |

| "It ain't none 'a yer business." |
| Later, in the saloon, Zac explains what happened. He also introduces Clive to his new partner, |
| Frenchie (while Diane is held hostage in the back room). |

| need his help." |
| "Maybe HE needs your help Clive." |
