| Jack is having breakfast on the porch when Maries passes "You're going to get indigestion eating |
| like that." Clive is sweeping. |

| Joanna Radway brings a sick farmhand in to |
| town, he's half dead after drinking bad whiskey. |
| "You take care of the half dead part Mrs. Dumont, |
| I'll take care of the stupid part." |
| Mrs. Radway walks into the saloon carrying an axe. "Howdy gents!" |

| The room falls silent. |

| She tells Ardimous, "Put that glass down |
| or I'll take yer hand with it." |

| As Mrs. Radway swings the axe, Clive Bennett |
| comes through the door, he ducks in time to avoid |
| loosing his head. Marshal Craddock hits the floor |
| and comes up with his hand caught in the spitoon. |
| Zac yells,"Corporal ya gotta do somethin'!" |
| "What do you want me to do? Shoot Her?" |
| "Ya, if that's what it takes!" |
| Joanna turns her attention to Zac, she raises the |
| axe over her head, Zac screams, "No! Not my bar!" |
| and Clive the chance to take control of the situation. |
| Jack strains to pull the axe out of the wall, when it |
| The axe sticks into the wall behind her, giving Jack |
| finally gives, it crashes down on the bar. |
| "Ah, sorry Zac." |
| "Now Mrs. Radway, we respect yer right as a |
| member of the Women's Temperance, but that |
| don't give ya that right to press it on others. |
| Especially with an axe!" |
| Jack tells Clive to keep Joanna inside while he talks to Zac. |

| The marshal asks if the whiskey may have been bad. |
| Zac says he got his shipment yesterday, from his |
| usual distillery. He also tells Jack that he sent a rider |
| out to catch the teamsters, so he can restock the bar. |
| "Ya gonna press charges Zac?" |
| "Naw, jail ain't no place fer a lady, so |
| long as she pays the damages." |
| Jack tells him to add up the bill. |
| (sigh) |
| Back at the detachment, Mrs. Radway refuses to pay Mr. Denny for the damage to his saloon. |
| "Well, guess we're gonna have ta lock |
| 'er up Clive." They take her to the cell |

| out back where a drunk is heaving. |
| Joanna covers her mouth. Clive tells her, |
| "Perhaps it would be a good idea to stay |
| in the middle of the cell Mrs. Radway." |

| Jack agrees with the mountie, "It don't look so |
| bad after dark neither. Maybe we could put up a |
| curtain fer privacy Clive?" |
| "Yes, that might work Jack - for awhile." |
| Joanna decides to have another look at Zac's bill. She is released and takes the farm hand home. |

| Jack is swatting flies with a rolled up paper. "HA!" |
| Clive comes out of his quarters, "WHAT are you doing?" |
| With a grin Jack replies, "Huntin'." |
| Zac Denny rushes in "Ya gotta do somethin'!" The lawmen step outside and see the ladies of the |
| Temperance picketing in front of the saloon. |

| Sally is writing down the names of the men who |
| enter and how long they stay. The list will be posted |
| where evreyone can see it. |
| At that moment the teamsters return with a wagon full |
| of whiskey. Mrs Radway yells, "Get 'em ladies!" |

| Jack & Clive have their hands full trying to keep order as the women smash bottles and empty |
| the kegs. Ardimous sees the commotion and screams "Whiskey dyin' in the street boys!" And |
| the saloon patrons get involved too. |

| The ladies are arrested and put in the back cell. Clive comes out carrying their purses. |

| The women are organizing their dinner menu. |
| "I shoulda stayed inTexas." |
