PARSONS ARBORETUM FOUNDATION, INC.
The Parsons Arboretum Foundation, Inc. was established in August, 1993, as a non-profit organization. The foundation cooperates with the Parsons Tree Advisory Board and the City of Parsons in the long-range development of the Parsons Arboretum and Visitor Center, and to promote the planting of trees on public property throughout the city. Nine members serve three year terms.
The Parsons Arboretum Foundation supports the ongoing operation and continued improvements of the Arboretum through financial donations and supporting memberships.
The board of directors meets four times each year, or as necessary to conduct the business of the foundation. The annual meeting is held the third Thursday of November. Visitors are always welcome to attend the meetings of the board of directors.
