People often protest, "this is unfair! How can a God that loves me send me to a place like Hell?" We must understand, this place was NOT designed for people. It was originally for the devil and all his demons, however Hell is just dessert for those that break God's law

However, God has made a way for us. He has made it possible for us to avoid the eternal punishment that everyone of us deserves for breaking God's laws. The only way that this was possible was by sending His Son, Jesus Christ into the earth to live as a man - but still being God, and still being a holy, perfect being who at no time ever broke any of God's laws. The Bible follows Jesus' life and it tells us that there came a time in His life, about the age of 33, where Jesus was arrested, beaten, whipped and then nailed to a cross, left there to die.

The death of a perfect, sinless person was the only way that the effect of our sin - eternal separation from God in HELL - could be reversed. Pretty horrific. A cruel cross and a merciless beating... people often think this is excessive. But we're talking about God here - if there was another way, don't you think God would have taken it? But THIS was the only way that God could remove from us the effect of sin and allow us to be friends with God and enjoy everlasting life. More words from Jesus:

"I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."

He didn't say "a" way, "a" truth... there are people who would have you believe there are many roads to God. There are many ways... and there is no absolute truth. Jesus clearly states here that there are not many ways or many truths... there is only ONE. All roads DO NOT lead to God.
