I'm really not an interesting person, but it's kind of cool finding out about other people's favourite things and seeing what you have in common, don't you think? So, if you're interested, here's some stuff about me.

  • GENERAL STUFF

REAL NAME: Lyndelle

BIRTHDATE: January 13th, 1981

HOME TOWN: Adelaide, Australia, although I've also lived in Michigan, USA and Victoria.

OCCUPATION: Third Year Pharmacy Student

  • STUFF I LOVE!

GOD: Yep, I'm a Christian. I go to the Salvation Army, although I'm not in uniform. Believe it or not, I really like doing the doorknocking Red Shield Appeal every year, although it's very hard work. I'm notoriously bad at attending youth group but hey, now SmackDown's not on anymore, I'll actually be able to get to more of them.

WRESTLING: Well, duh! But I am totally obsessed and devastated that they took SmackDown away from me, since I thought it was by far the better show. To see which wrestlers I support, click here. For the record, I've been watching since September, 2000, when they FIRST started showing SmackDown.

MY PETS: I have three totally awesome pets that are mine, although others live in my house and belong to other family members.

The dog: Jericho (named after the legendary Y2J, although I do like the fact that it's also from the bible) is a golden retriever and I've owned him for a little over a year. He's still young so he's a little crazy, but he's hilarious too. I'm training him up to do dog trials and the lucky dude has three girlfriends at dog school, can you believe it? He's really good-natured and friendly, although he did try to protect me from the dude who came over to fix our air conditioner last week.

The cat: Mei Li (May Lee) is the only friendly Siamese I've ever met. She's a major snob to the other animals and is always sleeping because she's getting old now. She also has a very, very loud voice, just like me!

The bird: Speaking of loud voices, my cockatiel is called Eddie, after Barenaked Ladies guitarist Ed Robertson, NOT Eddie Guerrero. That said, he's an all yellow variety called a Lutino, so he has his own song. Yep, you guessed it, 'Lutino Shriek'. I'm so very sad. But yeah, he talks, sings and mimicks my laugh (few things are funnier than hearing your own laugh from a bird!) and he enjoys wolf-whistling when I'm getting changed - little pervert.

MUSIC: I used to have a reputation as the one to ask if you had a music question (like who sang that, what do you think of...) but because of my increasing wrestling obsession I rarely listen to the radio at all. I'm also vaguely stuck in 1998, since my favourite bands are still The Whitlams, Barenaked Ladies, Ben Folds Five, Foo Fighters, Reel Big Fish and Jebediah. Although I still love punk and alt-rock, I've kinda been turning towards metal lately (probably a wrestling thing). As far as solo artists go, I'm a little more mainstream, in that I like Pink, Michelle Branch and Avril Lavigne. I also sing in my church band, which I love!

OBSCURE ACTORS: I love them. I knew Leonardo long before 'Titanic'; I knew Jack Black before he sang a 'Tribute'. I love actors that not many people know and I tend to stick with them until they really make it big. For the record, my favourite actor is Jeremy Piven and my favourite actress is Brittany Murphy. Both of them are incredibly talented and underrated. Look them up and check them out!

TOYS: Yep, I'm a big kid and, like any kid, I go through phases. I have some really great Barbies that I got, not when I was eight, but when I was eighteen (I hated Barbie when I was eight!). My current thing is wrestling action figures and I'm not gonna tell you how many I have because I think it would freak you out. Put it this way, I have five or six just of Jeff Hardy.

READING AND WRITING: How throughly scholarly of me. But seriously, I can't remember a time when I didn't write. Even when I was nine I was whipping up remakes of Hansel & Gretel starring cats. I don't remember what happened but hey, it was Hansel & Gretel! Of course, fan fic is my current thing, but hopefully I'll keep writing forever! As for reading, I mostly do web based stuff (other people's fan fic), but I do always have a novel on the go and I've recently crowned a new favourite author - Australia's own Nick Earls. If you live in Australia or can manage to track down his stuff, do read it. It's fantastic!

Well, that's the stuff I like. Told you I wasn't interesting *grins*
