The Phantom

In the role of the Phantom I could not choose just one actor. I feel that both Michael Crawford (left) and Jeff Hyslop (right) are wonderful Phantoms. They are both amazing talents and gifted in many areas. Both Jeff and Michael have captured the very essence that makes the character of 'Erik' what he is. They each have beautiful voices, developed portrayals and a

unique grace that is seen in very few. The depth that they use to play the role is astounding. If you would like to see more on either Michael Crawford or Jeff Hyslop just click on their pictures.

Christine Daae

My favorite 'Christine Daae' I have seen perform would have to be Charlotte Page. She is the current 'Christine' in the London Cast at Her Majesty's Theatre. Her voice is truly amazing and she does very well with her portrayal. Though 'Christine' is not my favorite character I think Charlotte really does a nice job with the character. She is a gifted singer and actress and I enjoyed her performance very much. Try and see her if you get a chance.

To tell you the truth I must skip over the character of Raoul. Though I do respect all the actors who have played the role I honestly have no favorite. I personally detest the character and try not to pay to much attention to him during the musical.

Carlotta

In this role I have also chosen two actresses. To the left is Kim Stengel, who is truly the perfect sort of Diva for the role. Magaret Preece is on your right, and she also has what it takes to play this commanding Diva with great success. They both have wonderful voices, despite what one might think when talking of Carlotta. Kim was Carlotta in Toronto for years and returned

for the finale at Pantages. Magaret has been the Carlotta in London at Her Majesty's Theatre. As far as I know Magaret is still in the London Cast.
