Altar Window
The symbolism of the Holy Spirit. Alpha and Omega, Greek letters "(I am) the first and the last".
The left and right panels of the centre row contain symbols representing the Trinity. The centre block of this row contains an upright oval with intertwined letters IHS, Greek capitals (iota, ta, sigma). In English capitals: JES, JE(SU)S, the name of Jesus. This group of letters were developed into the IHS of the central block (panel).
This window was presented by Eldon Loyal Orange Lodge in 1906. The cross on the altar was given by the A.Y.P.A., an organization which contributed a great deal to the life of the church.
