Bachelor's Degree

I graduated Bachelor's Degree from Faculty of Business Administration, Assumption University (ABAC), in the year 2001. My field of study is International Business Management, focusing on multi-national business management, cross-cultural interest, export & import procedures, customs formality and international trade agreement and association. ABAC is the university providing the almost-real experience of business. Every subject in each curriculum would be changed all the time in order to match the real business situation.

ABAC doesn't only provide studying and conceptual skills, but also cultural skill to the students. Much architecture was built in ABAC. Many students and many instructors are foreigners. Someone perceive ABAC as a cultural site in Bangkok. My life in ABAC was very helpful to the real business world, which is very competitive.

I had to arrange learning schedules by myself every semester. It is the competition among the students to select the subject they want to study in that semester. For those who were too late to register because the class was full and closed, they had to wait for the next semester.
Since ABAC is an international university, English is used as a medium of communication. At the first year of study, I was in a trouble because of my poor English skill. Then, 4 year passed, I didn't know if my English was improved but comparing with my friends graduating from other universities in Thailand, my English is very much better. I believe that time and familiarity are important factors.
Someone says that "ABAC is easy to enter, and very hard to graduate". I support this idea. Along with the struggling way of study, I had to compete with friends to get a good grade because ABAC use the curve of students' score to determine each student's grade. I faced some misunderstanding with foreign instructors. I had to do report with new-face friends every semester. Many problems occurred here, and they were all solved finally. I strived to graduate within 4 years with the GPA of 3.40 and bronze honor was recognized. It is my first step of success.
However, there were many impressions that I got, the most impression in ABAC which I have never forgotten is Loy Kra-thong festival. Why? What happened with me on that night? It was a wonderful party; I was a chief to cook papaya salad on that night. I remembered time that I started to cook from the day light till the midnight. If I counted in the amount of
dished, it was more than 100 dishes.
