The other name is 'Roy and Netty's Gone Fishing' and rightly so.These two people have spent several years giving thier heart and soul to Fishsim for no other reason than the fact that they loved it.
Running a site as complex as thiers takes a lot of very hard work as most people will freely admit.Unfortunately there are some small minded people out there who believe that these sites are easy to maintain and upgrade.These fools expect every change to happen instantly and when it doesnt they complain, but they dont complain in the way a sensible person would, Instead they become abusive and threatening.
Now, in part due to lack of time, but mainly these fools, Roy and Netty have retired from Fishsim.The website remains but is not the same without its helmsman and his lady.
So in an attempt to show these two wonderful people how much they mean to us 'simmers' I created this, my third venue.As it is a tribute to Roy and Netty they are represented by named fish (as is the creator of Fishsim Jason Spooner) and I tried to pick fish that I thought best represented the character of the people.
The venue I actually rattled off in around 24 hours compared to the two weeks or more I spent on each of my first venues, yet it's also the most complicated and complete venue I've done so far.Getting the water to flow correctly took 3 hours on its own!! but it was well worth the effort.Unfortunately the kingfisher site is in something of a muddlr at the moment so new venues are not being added to the global records page.A little patience and I'm sure this will be sorted soon.
In the meantime I say Au Revoir mon ami to Roy and Netty, Godspeed my friends.
