Miss Moonshine is our bay hanoverian mare that we bought at a horse market, June 2008. Her history is slightly foggy, but we are aware that she used to compete in english events and had a pretty solid record. However, she ripped a tendon after being jumped too high without enough warmup, so consequently was sold on as a broodmare. When we purchased Minnie, she was in terrible condition, extremely skinny and lame from her injury. But now, after being in two weeks recovery, we can already see the signs that she is getting better. She has a limp from her injury but our vet has confirmed that she is not in pain and will sadly always have the limp. Also, she has put on a healthy amount of weight so we are very glad she has recovered so quickly!
