Grand Magnificent is our stunning stud colt out of the stallion, Gambler's Addiction, bought from Avalon Stables, June 2008. Grand is a gorgeous horse who really is an old horse on young shoulders. He has such a great temperament. He is a very social horse who always meets you in the paddock. Grand loves a cuddle and enjoys a good scratch behind the ears. He has recently started schooling and has taken to it like a duck to water. He tracks his hindlegs up well and has a great head carriage. He has been put through all his paces and from what we have seen he seems to have pretty good paces with no massive faults. However, when Grand gets spooked, he gets pretty much uncontrollable. He will shoot his head up in the air and pull away from the lead or reins. It can be quite scary and when he gets like this it's best to just take him back to the barn and try again another day. Of course, because he's young, something like this is bond to happen because no horse is perfect, however we don't want him doing this all his life, so we will hopefully get it out of his system. Overall though, Grand is gorgeous stud colt with an exciting future!
