I purchased Bentley from Avalon Stables in the spring of 2008. The young colt was advertised with excellement movement and tons or promise. After viewing his impressive pedigree of Djerba - a Silver's Stable Legend and Twilight Stakes Winner and War Child - placing 2nd twice in the Twilight Stakes, and finding out he is a half brother to the Champion Silverbred Fly High Apache, I immediately placed a bid on the colt and in two days he was home! Bentley is a well mannered horse. He is quite quiet and shy considering he is a colt, however, he does enjoy strutting his stuff in front of the fillies in the paddock and who wouldn't resist such a black beauty! Out on the track, Bentley can become frisky and spooky, and needs work on his gate exiting and stamina. Overall, I am extremely happy I purchased this fine colt.
