Oldschool? Newschool? Metalcore? Whatever! The fact is that Nothing was formed on February, 17th 2002 by xipheyx (vocals), Yosie (guitars) and Arie (drums). Since the beginning, Nothing was always having difficulties in finding a fixed-matched bass player. Then, xnanux came saves the day. He joined the band as additional bass player. With this line up, Nothing recorded 4 songs: The Biggest Fear, Justification, Parallel Hatred, Run and Hide, and released the unsatisfying record as demo-tape entitle Lesson of Life. February 2003, xnanux left the band to concentrate with his own newschool hardcore band. Then, Wietman fill the position. With this new line up, Nothing recorder 2 more songs, The Biggest Fear and My Condolences to participate in a local hardcore compilation released by Halang Rintang Records. Nothing's music is a mixture of oldschool, newschool, metal, punk and pop. We can mention Walls of Jericho and Caliban as the most influenting bands, besides those of every member's. Nothing is not a straightedge band, nor vegetarian, even xipheyx is vegetarian straightedge. Nothing also not a feminist band, nor xipheyx herself.
