| 31/08/04 Goldiggas In Q The Beautiful South are mentioned twice in the October edition of Q Magazine. On Page 9 is the Q's "20 essential tracks you need to have this month". At number 8 is The Beautiful South with (Don't Fear) The Reaper..... "This superbly gentle Blue Oyster Cult retread". Also on page 46 is the Q's playlist "Upcoming albums taking up residence on the office stereo". At number 4 is The Beautiful South's Goldiggas..... "The Ramones and S Club 7 get the Heaton makeover". |

| 02/09/04 Album Artwork It has been announced that David Cutter has done the artwork for the forthcoming Goldiggas Headnodders & Pholk Songs album. David had been comissioned to produce 13 images, a front cover for the album and an image for each song, just like he did with the 0898 album back in 1992. I, for one am very pleased David Cutter is doing this albums artwork as I love all of his work both on the 0898 album and the Munch DVD. |

| 04/09/04 Official Site Re-launch The official Beautiful South website www.beautifulsouth.co.uk has re-launched today, and is the best Beautiful South website we've ever had. The design and colour scheme is very stylish and it is packed with loads of interesting information about the new album including a large list of songs that didn't make the album. There are also loads of new album artwork for us to see. |

| 30/09/04 Golddiggas Headnodders & Pholk Songs, The limited Edition The New Beautiful South covers album, 'Golddiggas Headnodders & Pholk Songs' is to be released in 2 versions. One version is a straight forward CD album whilst the other version is a limited edition CD with a DVD. It is unsure what will feature on the DVD at this point but I will keep you informed. The album is released on Monday 25th October |

Firstly there is a full page advert promoting the album, you can see this HERE. Also in album review section of teh magazine, the album gets a half page review with a nice publicity shot. The single is taken from the bands new covers album which is released in 2 weeks on Monday 25th October. The band are to perform their version of teh S Club 7 hit, Don't Stop Movin' which features on their new covers album, Golddiggas Headnodders & Pholk Songs. The programme will be showed on ITV. |

| 16/10/04 Livin' Thing a hit! The Beautiful South's new single entered the official charts at Number 24 today. This is the Souths highest chart position for 4 years. The single did drop 5 places though since Thursday where it entred the Midweek charts at 19. |
