The site is a gift to my husband with thanks to his friends and twin brother who shared his experiences and gave me insight. Thanks also go to Nerys John; who did her master’s thesis on Operation Savanna and without whom this site may ever have seen the light.  A large thank you goes to Stephan Fourie who kept the most detailed records and smuggled film out of Angola.
