Course description

The course is design to introduce student to the various aspects of research methodology and to apply the various techniques of research to the real world of business. this course covers topic such as types of business research, research and management problem, research proposal, research process, theoretical framework, hypothesis development, research design, scales and measurement, questionnaire design, data collection method, sampling, data processing, analysis and interpretation, hypothesis testing and presentation of research report.

Objectives

Upon the completion of this course students should be able to:

·         Understand the basic knowledge of research in business.

·         Design and present a research proposal.

·         Design questionnaire and conduct some basic data analyses and interpretation.

·         Relate the importance of research in the real world of business.
