Paolo has been seen quite a bit in the Philippines guest starring on talk shows, and television series. He has also done a bit of singing. according to a few members on the official paolo montalban message board who have access to Philippine tv stations, Paolo was heard on the Philippine news as having signed a recording deal with vicor records. It is said he may even do some songs in the Philippine language Tagalog. More news as I get it.
While I don't do personal rumors on Paolo for reasons of protecting his privacy, this rumor isn't harmful to that rule. In fact if it were true, it would be totally excellent. The rumor is he may do a movie with Regine Velasquez, similar to Moulin Rouge! That would be totally awesome since I love that movie!
Paolo is starring in a blockbuster movie with Benjamin Bratt (Law and Order- 1995-1999) called The Great Raid. YAY FINALLY A BLOCKBUSTER FILM FOR OUR PAOLO!!
talk about not being able to escape Mortal Kombat... Robin Shou, who I've met in person, starred as Liu Kang in the mortal kombat movies. Soon after Paolo starred as Kung Lao, Liu Kang's Ancestor in the MK series. Now he is starring in a movie with Benjamin Bratt, who is married to Talisa Soto... Talisa played Kitana in the Mortal Kombat movies. Its like that 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon game! lol.
