| On friday morning, i went to my film class to discuss Cast Away. Last semester we were 10 in this seminar and this semester we apparently are only 6. Mailys, Coraline and I are still there, and there are 3 spanish newies, Fernando, Roberto and Rosa. I was in a group with Roberto and Rosa and they looked quite nice...Later, i went to Richard's Economy lesson, and it is useless to say that, ahem, some concepts he refered to are absolutely meaningless to me.... I finally went back to Heaton (my area) where i struggled to convince the Western Union guy that i was the same person as the one on my ID card photo...I eventually went to the swimming pool, to try to exhaust myself, as i wanted to be able to sleep on the coach at night. It actually worked quite well, as i manage to doze a bit in the pbetween 11:30 pm and 6am, despite that bloody kid occasionally shouting as a mad cow for a reason still unknown ... Once at Victoria coach Station, London, England, Uk, i still had more than 1 hour to travel to get to Darren's house, in South East London....The trip started quite badly , as my travelcard remained stuck in the tube gate, and i couldn't see anybody liable to help me.....But i finally resolved that tricky problem thanks to a clever trick (ahem), and arrived safe at Darren's around 7am. To recover of that eventful night, i basically slept and lazed all day. At night, Darren and i went to the Good Mixer (Camden), to meet some friends up, namely Maria, Nico and Marion. We had a good night out, and i talked Nico and Maria into going and having sushis in a Japanese restaurant next weeken..Tasting sushis is indeed something i always wanted to do, but i never got a chance! And i'd look a bit sad, going on my own eating sushis....I don't even know the proper way to eat it! lol. Anyway, a bit later, Marie B, a friend of mine from France, in London for a short while, joined us later with a bunch of crazy blokes, all completely hyper....Eddy was italian, Simon spanish, Yatcha and what's-his-name were from Montenegro. Eddy and Simon were alright, and i didnt get to talk with the two others, but they looked a bit OTT to me....One of them nearly trigered a fight by saying "Aye, Aye, Jimmy" to Adrian, Marion's ex scottish flatmate.Yet, that's one of the first thing you learn when you arrive in UK : never take the piss out of scottish people. Serious. We finally left the Mixer around 00:30 and of course missed the train to go back home... Consequently we decided to stop at McDonald's (shame on us!) , before taking the N1, crammed with sick younsters and "fucking weirdos" (Hannah's style)...We finally arrived at home two hours later..... Sunday was a quiet day. Darren and I divided our time equally between eating chinese food, watching DVDs (Memento & Subway) and lazing. At night, i took the coach back to Newcastle, and thanks God, i was sitting alone on a double seat. I left aside the quite strong smell of feet i could detect, and managed to sleep quite well... When i arrived at home, at 7am, i was all glad to go and lie down on my bed....Though, 10 minutes later, that bloody Gaurav came upstairs and i heard him putting something in the tumble drier...fucking hell! does he do it on purpose or what? i bloody put a note on that fucking door to prevent it to happen again, but that bloke is just a selfish jerk and refuses to respect his flatmates? Alright! I jumped out of my room, and basically shouted at him. I have to admit that i'm not too proud of it, but, man, it felt good! I havent said anything since the first day he moved in, i always refused to get involved in all this house thing, but f*** he really went too far this time! Anyway, i got up at 12 to go to uni, for my Renaissance Literature class. I definitely like the teacher, Dr Graeme Davies, so i think i'll enjoy it. It was meant to be a two hours course but apparently, my teachers planned to provide only one hour and to delegate the other one to another teacher. And i just recieved a mail from the latter saying that his course will take place on thursday afternoon, which definitely reduces all my hopes of going to london during the week rather than for the weekend to nothing. Great..................................... |
