- Lissa Explains: a great site for learning the basics - and then some - of using html to build a website. Since it's aimed at kids, it uses simple terms instead of complex computer mumbo-jumbo which is great when you're just starting out. It was super helpful throughout the creation of Pandywaff.
- GRSites.com: a huge bank of free backgrounds, pictures, icons, and borders. Great for starting (and maintaining) your site :)
- HaloScan: provides the handy-dandy little comments box that follows every entry
