*eek* law school...no, not yet
Picked up an LSAT registration and information book from the Career Services Centre today. I suppose it would've been a good idea to wait till after exams since I should have anticipated picking it up at 1am and thinking I could take a break from studying to flip through it. Now not only am I getting increasingly worried about the mountains of studying I have to do in the next three weeks, I have my plans for the next eight years on my mind, like a little cherry on the sundae - of doooooooooooooommmmmm...
Shit. Okay that's it, I'm hiding it under my bed.
And now it's time for some Jamiroquai. Jay Kay, baby, take me awayyyyyyyyyy...

comments - hurray!
I always thought these little comment spaces were pretty cool cause this way you lovely folks can reply to specific entries - they're also right there, on the page you're reading, reminding you to leave a note as soon as you've finished reading each entry. Guestbooks are all good and well but I'm hoping that this time my requests for more feedback will not go unheeded by everyone but Carly (and even she appears to have tired of guestbook-spammage lol)
This is just the newest thing on my growing list of excitements :D

no choice but to get down
Slightly impaired today...it was already late when I started talking to Farah yesterday, but it'd been so long since we'd last spoken...
Me: aaaaanyway..I think we should call it a night, it's almost 3am.
Her: um..it's actually almost 4...
(silence as I verify this...)
Me: WHAT??? But when did...??
Yeah...can't wait to get the bill for that *sigh* nevermind though it was awesomely worth it! (lollll)
EVERYTHING'S SO EXCITING RIGHT NOW - Winterfest is this weekend, and I decided that in spite of my decided lack of sportive ability I'm going anyway - I can provide vocal support :D Also...booked a room (finally!!) at the Westin Harbour Castle - looks soooooo nice too :) - for our New Year's tomfoolery (LOL isn't that the greatest word??) and I can't even begin to describe how impatient I am for it to happen...I've had the biggest craving to just dance, dance, dance and I have a feeling this'll satisfy it for a while to come... Oh goodness. I woke up this morning with the biggest smile on my face, I'm just so happy and anticipation-full right now - it's actually gotten to the point where I'm babbling incessantly and not especially coherently either but WHO CARES I feel *light* :D
Adding to my good mood is the discovery of shared music on ITunes - basically, if you're running ITunes and you're connected on a local area network you can access other people's libraries from within that network. Discovered sooooo much good music and also some old songs I'd forgotten but have fallen in love with all over again. I have listened to "Move Your Feet" by Junior Senior no less than forty times since downloading it three days ago and each time I've been incapable of sitting still - as the name suggests it's one of those songs that fills me with the giddy excitement of a three year old and there's nothing left for me to do but dance (also listening to lots of Jamiroquai, and suddenly their lyrics have worked their way into my everyday vocabulary...:D )
Other songs on my playlist at the moment:
Deeper and Deeper - Madonna
Don't Stop Till You Get Enough - MJ
Do You Know Where You're Coming From - Jamiroquai
Go West - Pet Shop Boys
Intergalactic - Beastie Boys
Shalala lala - The Vengaboys
You Got It - NSync
Crazy for This Girl - Evan and Jaron
Superstar Part Zero - K-OS
I DARE you to download some of these and tell me they don't make you *bouncy* :D

cravings
I'm reading about Machiavelli for PoliSci right now and it's giving me the biggest craving for pasta. It's probably cause his name sounds kinda like "macaroni" - especially when they keep saying "Machiavellian this" and "Machiavellian that"...it's making me drool. That happens to me more often than I'd care to admit...but here's one more example: reading Julius Caesar in grade 10 English gave me the longest continual craving I have ever experienced for a salad...
The Pre-Law Society held a lawyer's forum this evening and I'm so glad I went. Our guests were two lawyers who work for Blakes, a big downtown Toronto firm, and they were telling us all about law school and the hiring process for the said big firms...I have to say that after listening to them I not only feel more confident in choosing to head in that direction, but I also don't think it'd beyond me to have these aspirations. I'm not saying it sounds easy...it just doesn't sound nearly as frightening as it did yesterday.
Okay back to PoliSci...mmmm....
