So...the secret's out...Chash, hope you liked your gift!! And Carly, I absolutely loved mine...Thanks a bunch sweetie :)
Stuff that's been going on lately: work, work and more work pretty much sums up EVERYONE'S last few days at school. I don't remember ever having been so busy just before the holidays...usually they give us all the projects and ISPs and tests just before exams, after the holidays...this year they decided to change things (for everyone, it seems) and it's still taking a bit of time to come down from the hectic-ness (hectic-osity? hectic-tity??)...I've been waking up at 7:30 every morning in a panic cause for a split-second I think I'd forgotten to set my alarm and I'm gonna be late...and then realize that I have no places to go, no promises to keep - and I start feelin' groovy :D
Discovered a wonderful new outlet for the hustle and bustle in my head...amateur art. Got some easel paper from IKEA, some poster paint, a few chunky brushes, and thanks to Carly (a.k.a. Santa) some watercolor brush markers (they're awesome, you draw with them and then spritz them with water and they *blend*), some conte and some charcoal (so delicious to draw with I have to fight the urge to bite a piece off)...It feels like journal writing to me :)

bah humbug...
GRRR...alright, it's not your fault, but if you're the person I have for Secret Santa, you're IMPOSSIBLE to shop for!!! I can't think of anything and I'm running outta time...I'm gonna be one of those crazy Christmas shoppers at the Eaton's Center, running frantically from store to store, picking things up and tossing them back down, making a mess and getting into people's way and not really giving a damn cause the perfect gift is out there somewhere - I just haven't found it yet - and a few other shoppers certainly aren't going to get in MY way...
