It's funny. You think you know someone so well, and they'd never intentionally hurt you. And then they pull something like this. They tell you to pretty much fuck off because their 'one and onlys' are suddenly more important then a 3 year friendship! What a bunch of fucking bullshit. They tell you "I love you", and like a fool, you believe it. Because you want to be loved. They promise they'll love you forever. They'll be there for you always. And still, you believe it, wanting more than anything for this wonderful feeling to continue. But then, they no longer want to be your friend. Their 'true love' hates your guts. So you're out of the picture, just like that. You're hurt, confused, lost, unsure of what to do, what to say, where to turn. Then you realize, you're better off without them if this is how they're going to treat you. How do you know this? Because...your best friend told you so, and you know you can trust them, and they'll never throw you out like an unwanted child. And everything is okay again.
