Lips forming silent words
Eyes closed
Adrenaline pumping through veins
Heart pounding
Oblivious to all the world
Everything passing by
Life goes on for another day

Music ends
Ears ring with silence
Fingers pause
Lips ceasing moving
Eyes suddenly open
Blood slows down
Heart stops
The world jars into view
Everything comes to a halt
Death claims victim after victim
