SAVING THE INNOCENTS

I bet it never crossed your mind
That all my screaming
Isn't to piss you off
But to release the pain you cause me

And these tears aren't for you
They're for the innocents
Who have lost their lives
Or who have been wronged by the likes of you

But I think you should know
That I stand in your way
So the innocents will be saved
And they can live in ignorance

Yell at me, hit me
Try to break me down
I don't give a damn
At least I'm saving lives instead of destroying them
