LIES

Sometimes I wonder
How I can live with the lies
That I've told
To make you give a damn

And now I realize
That after so many tellings
The lies become a reality
And that's all I remember

No traces of the truth
Nothing but stories
That I made up
So you'd care

I want to break apart
The wall of lies
To tell you the truth
But will you believe me?

Will you still want to be near me?
Or will you shun me?
And expose me for the liar I am
I just want my life back...
