Blind. . .so I couldn't see your beautiful face, so I couldn't see your sorrow. . .

Deaf. . .so I couldn't hear your soft voice, so I couldn't hear your painful cries. . .

Mute. . .so I couldn't say anything foolish, so I couldn't betray my heart with spoken words. . .

Heartless. . .so I couldn't feel the things I do, so I could no longer feel any love for you. . .

Soulless. . .so nothing could matter, so my life would mean nothing. . .

Mindless. . .so I could no longer think these thoughts, the ones that shouldn't cross my mind. . .

Lifeless. . .so I could suffer no more, so this couldn't be real. . .
