Chapter Two
"Sometimes life can be a pain, but don't give up without a fight, sometimes when you feel afraid, don't give up and run away."-The Ataris
Leila lay sprawled out across her bed, reading as usual, when her sister walked in. Without looking up from her book, she asked, "Don't you know how to knock?" Leslie rolled her eyes and jumped on the bed. "Oh, please. Can I ask you a question?" Leila sighed and shut her book. "Sure, considering you're not interrupting me at all" Leslie nodded. "Good. Why is it that you ALWAYS have your pesky nose in a book? I mean, you're the sister of Leslie Morgan, for pete's sake! If word ever got out, that my sister was a big dork I'd be ruined." Leila glared at her. "Oh, save it. Why don't you go find someone who actually pretends to care about your pathetic egotistical lifestyle?" Leslie stood and tossed her blond-hair over her shoulder and paused in the doorway. "Jealousy's a bitch, isn't it, little sister?" And with that she walked out, slamming the door.

Leila rolled her eyes. She is so full of herself, it's incredible. I'm the one who should be ashamed to call her family. Geeze. She sighed to herself and picked up her book once again and began reading, as if her sister had never been there in the first place.

"Geeze Justin! Why in the world are you psyched up tonight?" Chris looked at his bubbly young friend in curiosity. Lance groaned. "Because. Tonight is when their re-airing Leslie hosting Saturday Night Live." JC chuckled to himself. "Leslie Morgan, eh? Doesn't he already have that one on tape?" Joey sighed. "Yeah, he does. Along with every other appearance she's ever made. This is one sick obsession, man. Maybe, once a certain someone gets here, she'll be able to calm him down?" JC glanced down at his watch. "Speaking of. I should be getting to the airport about now. I'll be back."

"Hurry back, man. I don't know how much more, 'oh my god, Leslie, I love you's' we can take." Joey said, pleadingly. JC laughed and grabbed his keys. "Go easy on him. He's got a bad case of puppy love." Justin sat up and glared at them. "I'm right here, ya know!" JC laughed as he walked out. Joey shook his head. "Justin, really. This is getting rather path" He trailed off, as Justin waved his hands wildly in the air. "Quiet! It's on!"

"Well, hello, New York! What a thrill to be here tonight hosting Saturday night Live! Gosh, I remember when I was little me and my baby sister Leila always used to watch"

Leila rolled her eyes. "I don't see why I have to be down here We've seen this like a gazillion times. Mom, I do have more important things to do, you know." Lise looked at her youngest daughter and frowned. "I'm sure you do, but you know the rule. Whenever your sister's on TV, we're all to be here supporting her." Leila raised her eyebrows in protest. "But mom! This is a RE-RUN! We've seen it! We've already supported her! And I refuse to watch this god-awful display of acting!" She glanced over at Leslie, who was shooting her death looks. "That's right, Les. It's quite amazing what Hollywood considers talent nowadays." Leslie jumped up, as if to slap her sister, but Leila calmly stalked off to her room, locking the door.

She could hear her mother, consoling Leslie. "Don't worry, dear. You know how she gets jealous. Don't listen to her rambling." Leslie grinned to herself and settled back, munching on popcorn.

"Now, just what in the world is going on?!" A tall blond-haired woman walked swiftly over to where Justin was sitting and smacked him, playfully. "Who is this Leslie Morgan and where do you get off thinking you could cheat on me?" Justin grinned and looked up. "Ahh. Aren't you a sight for sore eyes? How are you doing this lovely evening madam?" She crossed her arms. "You never did answer my question." Justin smiled. "Leslie Morgan is the most incredible creature on the face of this earth. She's talented, she's gorgeous, she's" JC raised his hand. "Stop. You're disgusting." Justin rolled his eyes. "Oh, please. Like you don't talk about your woman the same way." JC smiled, evilly. "Well, what can I say? At least MY woman knows my name, and oh, yeah, she also knows I EXIST. Which is more than I can say for you."

Justin's mouth dropped open, as did the woman's standing next to him. "Oh, he so got you there, Justin." Justin shook his head, but then turned to his friend and leaned down and kissed her on the cheek, slowly, taking his time. JC rolled his eyes. "Ok, that's enough. I don't want her smelling like you're nasty cheap cologne, so back away."

Chris and Joey peeked around the corner of the doorway. "Is is it over?" JC nodded. "It's safe to come back in." Joey grinned and breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank goodness." He glanced over at Justin and smiled brightly. "Isabelle!" She smiled and hugged him. "Hey, Joey."

They heard rapid footsteps and they turned to see Lance in the doorway. "Um, is Gretchen here?" Isabelle looked down, unable to meet the man's hopeful gaze. "Um, she couldn't make it. She told me to tell you how sorry she was that she couldn't be here." His eyes noticeably dimmed, but he shrugged. "It's ok. At least you're here." She smiled and walked over to hug him. "Thanks Lance. She did want you to call her, though." He nodded. "I think I'll do that." She smiled and turned back to Chris. "How are you holding up?" He shrugged. "I miss her, but I'm ok." Isabelle nodded and patted his knee. "I know." She yawned and stretched out on the couch. "So what's the game plan for tomorrow?"

JC smiled. "Well we weren't going to say anything for Justin's sake, but after serious thinking, maybe we should let him in on a little secret You know how Leslie's doing that new movie what's it called" Justin looked at him, curiously. "Change of Mind." JC rolled his eyes. "Right. So, anyways, Johnny mentioned us going down to the set, considering we're playing a cameo in the movie. Oh, and singing on the soundtrack." Justin's eyes went wide and he jumped up and shook JC's shoulders. "Tell me, you're not kidding me. JC, man, tell me!" Isabelle stood and pried Justin away from him. "Excuse me, little one, but I would like him in one piece."

Chris smiled. "Well, this is certainly going to be an interesting day. You should get some sleep J. You wouldn't want Miss Leslie Morgan seeing you as anything but your perfect little self."
