JC looked around the hallway and quietly slipped the card into the slot, then slowly opened the door. He slowly crept inside the dark room and quietly shut the door.
"Nice night?" Justin asked, cocking an eyebrow at JC. JC jumped back against the door, being startled, letting out a deep breath. "Damn, Justin, scare the hell outta me why don't ya??"
"Sorry! So did you have a nice night?" Justin repeated with a cocky tone of voice. JC looked at him strangely while taking off his jacket, "Dude what's up with you?" Justin shrugged his shoulders slightly, "Nothing! I was JUST asking a question, which you seem to be dodging."
JC shook his head knowing that wasn't all he was looking for, "YES, I had a nice night. As if it were any of your business." he muttered walking into the bathroom.
Justin shook his head and picked up the magazine that he was reading, "Yeah well it might not be any of your business going out with someone's girlfriend." he muttered back, glancing down at the magazine, looking at the picture of Brian Littrell, and the very familiar face of the pediatric nurse that he saw at the hospital, and the one that had so quickly attracted JC.
Melissa frowned and shook her head, "Skylar! You can STOP asking all these questions right now, okay? We DO have a job to do if you've forgotten!" Melissa snapped, starting to get annoyed.
Skylar grinned, not letting that stop her. "I just wanted to know if you had a nice time with lover boy, and if lover boy #2, AKA your BOYFRIEND knew about it?"
Melissa slammed the chart down on the nurses' station and turned around to look at Skylar, she was just about to answer before she was cut off by an all too familar voice. "Did you boyfriend know about what?" Brian said coming up behind her.
Melissa tensed and drew a deep breath, instantly getting scared. She knew Brian was capable of some very bad things, and if he found out about JC coming to her house last night, and worst of all, that he kissed her, she would have certainly have hell to pay with Brian.
"Not...nothing." Melissa said in between a deep breath. She got up and quickly walked to the nurses' lounge to clock out, but Brian followed behind her slamming the door, "WHAT are you hiding from me Melissa?" He demanded.
She bit her lip while retying the drawstring on her scrubs, knowing she was in big trouble, "I'm not hiding anything." she quietly said, with her back turning to him. Brian walked towards her and grabbed her by the shoulders, whirling her around quickly to face him. Extreme anger stared holes into her soft green eyes, that were obviously showing fear, something he LOVED to see. Melissa then made the bravest move of her life, she lifted her hands and shoved Brian's hands off her shoulders then quickly ran out of the room into the hall.
Brian chuckled to himself before he followed her. "Girl's gotten brave." He quickly walked out after her, "MELISSA! I am your boyfriend and I demand to know what's going on here!!!"
Melissa stopped at the nurses' station and was giving Skylar one of her 'please help me' looks, when another familiar voice startled her.
"Boyfriend?" Melissa gasped quietly to herself and slowly lifted her head to see JC standing in front of her.
