| "Mol, I hope you didn't eat anything before you came home." Justin told her as they walked back into the house. "Why's that?" "Well I planned a special dinner up at your favorite spot. You know, up on the mountain." "Oooh, baby. That would be so romantic." Molly gushed. "This day has been perfect." "I try." Justin laughed. "You don't really need to." Molly turned and covered her husband's lips with passion. After a few moments, she reluctantly pulled away. "Are you okay?" Justin asked as he brushed her hair out of her eyes. "Yeah." Molly smiled. "I just need time to get ready cause I'm starving." "Okay. I'll meet you down in the foyer at 8." Justin kissed the top of his wife's hand and left her alone to get ready. Molly had this all planned. She knew Justin would act this way today. He always did on their anniversary. 'He should.' She thought bitterly. 'It's our anniversary for god's sakes.' Molly put the steaming hot curlers in her hair. Her hair was naturally curly, just like Justin's but she needed a little extra bounce tonight. Tonight was different. Tonight would be special. Tonight she was going to knock him dead. She slipped into her new black cocktail dress. She bought it just for tonight. He'll never forget tonight. She carefully applied her lipstick, blood red. About half an hour later as she took her hair out of the curlers, she went through her plan once again. She laughed out loud as she pictured the look on his face. Her hair was perfectly set in curls. Her makeup looked as if it were done by a professional. Her dress was cut a bit lower than usual, but she was sure Justin wouldn't mind. "Time to go," she said to the woman in the mirror. "This is going to be a night to remember." Justin stood in the foyer at exactly 8 o'clock. Today was going perfect, just as he planned. He talked to Joy while Molly was upstairs getting ready. Joy tried to convince him to make an excuse and leave their romantic dinner early so she could meet him later. He refused? he couldn't make any excuses tonight. It was his anniversary. Justin nervously wondered if Molly knew. His hand ran through his curls many times as he took several deep breaths. His last breath made him choke as his wife appeared at the top of the stairwell. 'I will never forget this night,' Justin smiled as he took his wife's hand, just as he had 7 years ago. *flashback* "It is brought to my attention that the couple has written their own vows. Justin, place this ring on Molly's ring finger and read your vows." The pastor explained to him. Justin took Molly's hand into his and smiled as a tear rolled down her cheek. "Molly, my love. You are my heart and my soul. I vow to you that I will do everything in my power, my heart, and in my mind to stay with you for the rest of eternity. I will be there with you through everything you do and I will have and hold you in my heart for as long as I live." "Molly, place this ring on Justin's finger and read your vows." Molly held Justin's hand above her shaking fingers. She had never been this nervous. "Justin, you are the love of my life and my soul mate. I will try to be your everything just as you are mine. Til death parts us, I will be by your side through the good times and the bad times. You are my heart and I love you." A smile played on both faces as they said 'I do.' *end flashback* Chapter Four |
