17 was the first android Cell absorbed, the stupid basta... uh, I mean, it's a good thing Krillin was nice and wished him back ^_^. 17 wasn't seen after that until Dragon Ball GT, when he fused with Hell Fighter #17 that Dr. Gero and Dr. Myuu somehow built in Hell and tried to destroy the world and was killed by Goku and #18.
Another thing that is definitely worth mentioning even though FUNimation didn't think so, is 17 and 18 were human twins before being kidnapped by Gero and turned into androids. How do you dub something like that out?! That's the whole reason 18 was able to have Maron, for crying out loud! I mean... man! *Ran out of nasty things to say about FUNi.* That's it for now on the kawaiiest jinzou-ningen of all time!
