Often I had the opportunity to create new variations of patinas and was challenge with making vivid color using only chemicals.
I began working on Star's work while I was employed at Weston Foundry and Gallery in Santa Fe, NM.
She later became one of my main clients after I opened my own studio.
The Patina Doctor began a reputation for fine patina work and refinishing. Often I was called on site to redo a patina that had gotten weathered or water damaged.
