| Here are some sculptures of Star's that I worked on during the Santa Fe period...2000-2002. I began working on her work while employed at Weston Foundry and Gallery. She became my "Star" client when I began my business, The Patina Doctor. |

| These horses were inspired by the cave paintings in Italy. The patina was to suggest an impression of stone. I first applied liver of sulfer to get the black and then worked ferric and titanium creating the dark brown/reds to yellow/tans. Star used this patina on many sculptures. | |||||||||||||||
| Star is a cowgirl....and this is her modern day cowboy. He has mirror sun glasses. The patina is chemical only. The purple shirt and levi's are colored with potasium ferrosynide alternating a mix with cupric or ferric. It's very magical and also difficult because if any cupric get mixed on the ferric side it turns purple. At the place where the shirt and pants meet that can be challenging. |

| I did the patina on over 35 coyotes in less than 6 months. Thats a lot of coyotes. | |||||||||||||||

| Star did two horses as replicas of the d'Vinci horse. This was the second series. The patina is ferric and cupric applied alternating and creating rings of gold. I like to keep it translucent so the bronze shows through. |

| The Christmas of 2001 I did 8 of these Dreamcatchers in this patina along with a patina like that of the horse alert....with a cauliflower texture. | |||||||||||||||

| This was a special order patina for this sculpture. The collector wanted it to match another she had purchased. It is airbrushed cupric on the bird and clothes and transparent ferric on the skin. | |||||||||||||||
| GRANDMOTHERS SHAWL.......A very colorful sculpture. The shawl was created with layers of titanium and ferric and then cordova shoe polish was applied while the sculpture was warm. | |||||||||||||||
