SPECIAL PROJECT:

SUPPORT PROJECTS THAT SEEK PROSECUTION OF ISRAEL FOR INTERNATIONAL AND DOMESTIC CRIMES

Many believe that the effort to realize the goals of Palestinian liberation should be framed within international law. This provides guidance in both philosophy and logistics to the movement.

The Mission of this Special Project is to highlight and support the many projects to bring about the prosecution of Israel for its violations of international and domestic laws - to illuminate for the masses the philosophy, legal mechanics and implications of this legal approach to the conflict.

 

 

The core issue of the Palestine-Israel conflict is that Israel violates multiple laws in order to accomplish its goals. Many thus conclude that if the Zionists ceased to violate those laws, it would not be able to maintain its main goal of maintaining a Jewish State in Palestine because it is only by violating numerous laws that the State keeps the native majority population of Palestinian Arabs out of the country and thus denies its political rights in its own ancestral homeland. It is assumed that if the Palestinian Arabs returned to their homes in what is now Israel that they would not vote in favor of living in a Jewish State. In addition, the State of Israel practices collective punishment against the communities of Palestinian Arabs located around it in order to subdue rebellion against being forbidden to go home, and practices discrmination in every area of life within Israel itself against the Palestinian Arabs who currently live within that country. Finally, Israel practices massive violations of human rights against Palestinian Arabs in order to maintain this status quo, such as torture of imprisoned Palestinians and imprisoning Palestinians without charges or trial and assassinating Palestinian rebellion leaders. Myriad groups seek to prosecute Israel for these crimes which violate international laws, and domestic laws within Israel and within other countries.
