| Photos Of People Enjoying The Rope Swings On Jupiter, Florida's Intracoastal Waterway | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| This is the northern "medium difficulty" swing. Users climb up a tree truck and use the rope to swing several yards out into the Intercoastal Waterway. In the background you can see the Intercoastal Waterway boat channel (it's a slow zone) and homes on the southern-most part of Jupiter Island (Jupiter Inlet Colony) See chart. |

| Start by climbing high into the tree. The higher you start, the further out into the water you swing. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Obviously, it's best to let go when the rope has swung fully outwards. This allows you to land in the deepest water. If you ride the rope back, you risk hitting the trees or other people (it happens!) |

| It's easiest simply to beach you boat here and tie-off to the trees. You can also anchor, but beware of strong currents and of boat traffic closeby. The ICW channel runs close to the swings. The current can be remarkably strong here and quickly pull children away. Having children wear their life jackets is cheap insurance. Life jackets also help swing jumpers guard against hitting the shallow bottom. |
