Dilis means "Beloved" and�Jamie was that. He placed twice in Derby level at all-breed Field Trials and then retired because we were not into hunting. However we had made our point with both Jamie and his sister, Brianna, to the field fraternity that the hunting instinct was alive and well in "show Irish". Jamie was an excellent Visitation dog, did school Demos, loved running free in the fields and woods looking for birds. But most of all, he loved snuggling up with us and giving his love. He died far too soon from complications of meningitis, suffered two years previously. We loved him so much and it was hard to let him go." �
