PEDRO NOW NEEDS A LIVER BIOPSY

TO DISCARD A POSSIBILITY OF AN HARD TO DO LIVER ORGAN TRANSPLANT, PALANCA WILL NEED A LIVER BIOPSY TO KNOW EXACTLY ABOUT HIS CIRRHOSIS PROBLEM. IN THE MEANTIME HE'S PRESCRIBED WITH ALDOCTONE, HE'S JUST STARTING THE ARV PROGRAM SO DOCTOR WILL EVALUATE.
BESIDES, THE PRESCRIBED ANTI RETROVIRAL DRUG HE WILL NEED IS TENOFOVIR (VIREAD) AND THE NGO THAT SELLS IT IN PERU SAYS THEY HARDLY GET THEM EVEN FOR MONTHS AND IF THEY GET THEM THEY SELL THE BOTTLE VERY EXPENSIVE. THERE ARE PEOPLE IN AMERICA AND EUROPE PRESCRIBED WITH THIS DRUG AND THEY DON'T NEED TO PAY FOR THEM. PALANCA MIGHT NEED TO TAKE THIS DRUG FOR LIFE, SO OUR PETITION IS TO DONATE AT LEAST A PILL FOR HIS TREATMENT.

PALANCA IN GORGEOUS MAGAZINE COVER

ME UNTAMED

One of my very favorite rock bands of all time, Beat Happening were from Olympia, Washington State. They made a carreer in the 80s and beginning the nineties. This is the first track from their album "Dreamy" (1991) and I got fascinated with the rhythmic and dusty guitars, the accidental but fantastic whistles of the guitar's feedback, the "primitive" batcave atmosphere and the gloomy voice of Calvin Johnson (like a dark Mick Jagger from afterlife). The results are so brutal and sexy at the same time that I found "dreamy" to mix it with my homoerotic, foot fetish drawings. This is my hommage to that legendary group.

Another artist I share admiration:
JACKYLL, SQUIRE, BEAU, DIC, CHUCK (toonish), GO HIRANO, GO MISHIMA, GO FUJIMOTO, KENZIE LAMAR, MARC DEBAUCH, MATT, TED FUSBY, MANFLESH, LALO UGALDE, SEAN PLATTER, PLAYER, JEAN COCTEAU, GRYPHON, BLADE, BENOIT PREVOT, MARCELLO (sculpture), OLAF (how did I miss you?)

A little speech about each artist (tryin' to be as briefly as possible):

BELASCO: He's in his most creative/productive period right now. He's very daring in mixing styles (first I didn't get it when I found him once sketching stains in ink, but later I realized this was the artist's "gymnastics" to get a runny, more consequent traces in his fine work). Afro-Erotic proud, his pencil/ink are both fresh, elegant and universal.

MINORU: I've seen dozens of artist who draw bears (and many are very good), but no one's as finest as Minoru, his work is in a higher level with a rich treatment to their always well-endowed butch men. He works with real models, but he also adds a special aura to each so the drawings are way much better than the real deal.

KIRWAN: His vivid art is as humorous and erotic at the same time with brilliant results. His eloquence and joy of living are always present in his almost fluorescent colours, the variety of colouring people with no fear, from salmon reddish pinks passing through pale yellows and greens and purples. Grotesque in every sense, as a virtue. His horny and kinda ugly characters are everyday people, Kirwan are always portraiting us and baring us naked in our sexuality.

TOM OF FINLAND (TOUKO LAAKSONEN): His biggest merit was to open the door to all of us who make erotic art. he opened our most hidden sexual fantasies and tell us that they are good for our mental and sexual health. Tom is our best legacy.

ROGER PAYNE: I don't know too much about this artist's ouvre because I've seen just around as much as 20 pieces of him, but how they get me horny! His always hairy/handsome muses are many gay men's fantasies, almost always skinny but real, macho and way more sexy than those sculptural musclemen from bodybuilding magazines.

GORILLA and VALENTINE: Both very butch, very macho to the pores, they invite us to deal always with the wrong guy who is looking for trouble and make us see that ugly guy from the corner look like our best hookup.

JULIUS: First time I've seen Julius men I sighed WOW, do these men really exist? and of course I found out abit later that his closest muse is porn star Colton Ford, noticing on his big jaw, thick nose, straight eyebrows, little eyes and fleshy lips.

PATRICK LEE: My conflict is to understand if he's an erotic artist or a good military photographer. Anyways his pencil work is some of the finest I've ever seen. He's not Leonardo but is a good Rafael. He catches the essence of masculinity that makes in his brutal, basic way so stimulating and erotic. Almost all of the words above (less about the photography) goes also for TEDDY OF PARIS (MICHEL BORSONI).

TAGAME: I didn't see that much of Tagame's work, but I guess he opened the doors in Japan. He's more known as a comic artist than a fine artist. Anyways, his men always wake us up our strongest and kinkiest desires.

HECTOR: He brought us the hispanic mexican men in gay erotica. His cholos let us see Hector's mexican pride in an increasing mexican-american power in the US. His work is rich and impecable.

REX and DOMINO: Artists from the past, when the 60s and 70s ruled in forbidden but intense sexual encounters seasoned with oil, soil, leather, jeans, chains, motorbikes and some of the most handsome brutal male faces ever graphicqued.

HUN (BILL SCHMELLING): Formerly known as Torro in his early Physique Pictorial years, Hun developed a big gamma of male fantasies in his comics, where interracial partnerships are always featured in macho city places like jails, dirty suburbs, fight arenas and more.

ETIENNE: Aesthetically in remembrance of Rock Hudson/Tony Curtis type heroes from the 50s and 60s, Etienne's eroticism is basically focused on pretty faces, well built bodies and extreme foot fetish fantasies.

BRAD RADER: Once I met him in a booth in a Tom's Bar (maybe 2002) and found out a couple of treasures that were two noetbooks filled with intense erotic drawings of the hottest mature men I've ever seen on paper. Paradoxically he was selling some comic books with a way different kind of thema and style.

DOUGLAS SIMONSON: Talking about Simonson is talking about fine art. he's a guy who travels around the world, specifically the Asian Pacific area where the most of his models come from. He's some kind of gay Paul Gauguin, a bit post-impressionist but very sensual. I am known that his boyfriend however, he's from Argentina (South America) where people are mostly european-descent.

JEAN COCTEAU: Poet, writer, filmmaker french divo from the avant-garde of early 20th Century, however his erotic drawings are so inconnu to many people. I've only seen Le Livre Blanc and discovered the homoerotic Cocteau ink (he was so stylish that I guess he never needed a pencil or an eraser). His Apollo/Classic Greek-type men match so easily in every gay situation like in a ship or with those suggestive penis-head berets his men use to wear.

HARRY BUSH: His work is so unique in technique and style, his tanned youths are always fresh and healthy looking.
