An Angel From God to
me

I went to the Lord to ask for a man
He
said, "sorry girl, I've run out of men"
I pleaded with the Lord to
search some more
The Lord did but there was no man
left
I hung down my head in despair
As the
tears rolled down my face
I made my way back to my lonely life
For
there was no man left for me
But then the Lord thought long and
hard
"I have an angel, would you like one?"
My heart fluttered and
missed a beat
As I fearfully waited for an angel in my
life
My angel arrived on the wings of faith
He
brought with him a large compassionate heart
His luggage was stuffed
full of kindness and love
And a smile as bright as the tropical
sun
Love came to me at the end of my
journey
And fulfilled a half-forgotten dream
The Lord has filled my
cup with goodness
And my heart overflows with the joy that love brings
For I've received an angel from the Lord
