A variety of non-destructive testing can be performed on materials and parts machined at Painter Tool, Inc.  This type of testing esures the strictest quality standards, including, SNT-TC-1A, NAVSEA 250-1500 and MIL-STD-2132, MIL-STD-410.  We can also comply with AMS and ASTM Specifications.

Magnetic Particle Inspection
Magnetic Partical examination equipment is capable of testing components or materials up to 12 feet long.
Painter Tool, Inc.  "In House" Magnetic Particle Examiner is qualified to:
NAVSEA 250-1500, MIL-STD-2132, MIL-STD-1949, SNT-TC-1A along with several other NDT specifications.

Load Hydrostatic and Embrittlement Relief Testing
Painter Tool,  Inc. has the capability to perform long duration "In House" load tests up to 200 tons, hydrostatic tests up to 12,000 psi and Embrittlement Relief Testing. 
Load and Hydrostatic Test Pressures are precisely monitored using state of the art digital instrumentation traceable to the NIST and Military Specifications.

Heat Treating
Painter Tool, Inc. can perform "In House" heat treatment utilizing equipment complying with MIL-STD-1684 and MIL-H-6875 and various other Aerospace and comercial specifications.
Temperatures and hold times are monitored and recorded on our Leeds and Northrup Speed-O-Max Model 24000 Hybrid Data Recorder.
