| We are located in the beautiful Central Ohio area. We have a lifelong involvement in the horse & pony world in many different aspects & disciplines. We have equines from mini to ponies to drafts. Our main focus is on the paint color performance ponies of mid to large size, and the drafts. We insist all of our ponies have wonderful dispositions, excellent & correct conformation with exquisite movement. And we do love that gorgeous eye catching paint color. We also strive for versatility in our breeding, we don't believe in the "only good for one thing pony". Our ponies halter, ride english including jumping, do western, drive, trail ride and like the cows, are shown, and do fun events such as parades & civil war reenactments, and get used in our pony ride/draft horse carriage business. Our ponies are not only pretty to look at but are usable! And they prove everyday that great things can come in small packages! We feel the need for good ponies has never been greater as the skill levels of younger and younger riders has risen dramatically. We are striving to help fill this need by breeding appropriately sized ponies for these skillful young riders. And these ponies are also the perfect companions for smaller sized adults or the older person who might like to drive just for the pleasure of it. Let's face it, it costs much less to feed a pony than it does a large horse. But you can still do most all the same things with a pony as one of the big guys! All our foals are imprinted at birth. They are halter broken within the first hours of birth to lead and tie. Before they are weaned they already know how to stand for grooming, hoof care, clipping, bathing... We play with and handle our foals daily and expose them to many different things/environments early in life such as walking over a wooden bridge or a tarp on the ground, flapping things, going through water, trailering... And when we use their mama's for our pony rides the foals go right along, they learn early not to be bothered by loud noises, lights, carnival rides, crowds of people... And our ponies are handled by our kids too from the start. We currently stand two stallions at stud, our registered belgian and our registered 13.2 hand loud tri color bay overo paint pony. Please see our stallions page for more info on them. We also have registered Pembroke Welsh Corgis and nubian goats. We have puppies for sale at various times throughout the year. |
