| Face Painting fulfils a fantasy to become a childs favorite character. They willingly wait in line, scrutinizing each picture, carefully selecting the perfect face. They watch intently, as the children before them are transformed into superheros, butterflies, pirates, princesses, cats and monsters. Their turn has come. They climb into the painting chair, close their eyes and relax as the paintbrush massages their cheeks with delicate strokes. Some of them sit so still, observers wonder if they are asleep. The Painter touches them gently on the shoulder. "Open your eyes, she says "you're face is finished". They open their eyes, and gaze into the mirror in front of them. Suddenly they realize the brightly coloured face they see belongs to them. Their eyes light up and they smile ear to ear. "Look Mom!...I'm spiderman!!!!" |
