Bariotik kitchen and garden is a place where we celebrate the goodness, the richness and the pride of our own kapampangan and bicolano baryo recipes that we learned to cook and love in our own kitchen. our culinary influences come from parents who are kapampangan and bicolano. 

It is not only a place where we honor the old traditions but where we also welcome new ideas as we share recipes that have foreign influences but are appealing to the pinoy palate - dishes that we also serve to our own table guests at home. 

Bariotik is a term that connotes a negative meaning - a description of a person of lower stature who comes from the baryo or village. bariotik dishes - food that have no "class" or are not restaurant-worthy and thus should be confined and only shared in the homes of persons who are bariotik.

As we offer our recipes in our humble kitchen, we hope to put the term bariotik in a more positive light and bring back the dignity and pride to our own baryo food.
