Goal: Provide affordable, HIV/AIDS health care, counseling, and training for community. An emphasis will be placed on the prevention and transmission of HIV/AIDS particularly in the area of mother to child transmission.


Timeline:
The start-up phase of the project is estimated at 18 months with post-project evaluations once every 3 months.

Quantitiative Success Evaluation: Once completed the project, the Nairobi Eastlands Support Centre will be up and running and sustainable with no additional intervention required. Below are the quantitative measures for success.

Assumptions: Current population of 200,000 with a 6.7% HIV/AIDS infection rate.

- Treat 40 patients per day X 5 days per week = 2,400 in Q1
- HIV/AIDS treated at 6.7% = 160 HIV/AIDS patients in Q1
- Educate about birth control and HIV/AIDS prevention.
