         | The concept here is simple. Companies will pay for your attention to their emails (and usually for clicking on links) rather than simply spamming you and risking their good reputations. The companies listed below pay you to receive emails from other corporations and individuals, and each one also pays you per referral email read. That makes these programs ridiculously low maintenance -- you may not make hundreds of dollars reading your own emails, but you could if you got a decent amount of referrals. And even if you don't refer many people, you can still get quite a tidy little sum by signing up to multiple programs (of course, they all work together perfectly). One quick word of advice -- get a hotmail or other spam account to send these emails to, so that you won't clutter your personal inbox. AHMOOLA  Ahmoola is one of the highest paying email programs -- 10 cents per email!! With a great referral program as well, this is one of the best current email programs out there. Sends more emails than most programs as well! INBOX DOLLARS  NEW 9/7/01 - Now paying $5 just to sign up! Inbox Dollars is my current favorite in the paid email world. Get paid 5 cents per email you receive and 1 cent per referral email. They send quite a bit of email and have a very professional website. I was paid in full by Inbox Dollars in 9/2001. REFREWARDS  Refrewards is one of the best new programs out there, done by the people at Refmaker. It is a paid portal AND a paid email program, and the rates are some of the best out there. Definitely sign up and start getting some referrals today. Make sure to join the email and the portal program to maximize your money! SENDMOREINFO  Others may imitate, but Sendmoreinfo remains one of the best original email programs. They track stats faithfully, send out checks promptly, and send good amounts of emails, still at 5 cents per email and 2 cents per email received by referrals. They have been one of my most steady revenue streams, and I continue to highly recommend them. I have received 6 checks from Sendmoreinfo as of 8/2001. MINTMAIL  Mintmail is unique in that if you choose to take your payment in gift certificates, they will double the payout. Thats 10 cents per email! Plus, they pay 3 cents (6 cents g.c.) rather than 2 cents per referral email received. In a virtual tie with Inbox Dollars for potential and professionality, but somewhat less emails sent out per month. HTMAIL 
HTMail is probably the most underrated paid email company around. Why? Their rates are far higher than everyone else's, up to 25 cents per email. A little extra work of submitting your email address after you follow the links in the email, though. TOTAL EMAIL 
What Total Email lacks in high payout rates or a clear cut website, they make up for in volume of emails. I get a LOT of emails from these guys. Most pay 2 or 3 cents, but some pay in credits for contests on their websites. They are definitely a program worth promoting, but have room for improvement in payout and website structure. READCLICK Readclick is a promising young program whose best feature is that you can sign up from this page without even leaving! Wow! They also pay more than the traditional email companies, up to 25 cents per email. ADDBONUS  Addbonus' website doesn't inspire the most confidence, but they send out plenty of paid emails and track their stats faithfully.
