The only commercial apps in this site (you can download only a demo version), the only exception, but the best software you can find for Windows. I placed it in this position because you can only try it, but...
For less than 60$ you can create new partition on your HD, install other OS (like W2000, or Lynux, or Windows Me...) and boot from them! It is like buying a clone (or more than one) of your computer!

IMPORTANT: Please note that -in my way of rating the position of the first 3 apps depends from the use that you do of them and from the fact that they are completely free. Otherwise, Partition Magic should be the real Top Magic 10...

Encrypted magic folders...makes any folders you choose (and all the files within those folders) completely invisible to others (and encrypts them!). Your invisible folders and files can't be deleted, viewed, modified, or run.
For all practical purposes they don't exist. Use Magic Folders to protect your finances, taxes, business and personal documents. Others won't know these files exist and they won't be able to accidentally delete or modify them either.

With Magic There's no need to un-hide each file or folder individually. And Magic Folders is totally transparent.

It is very easy to use. You can freely use the shareware version for 30 days, after that you must register. But.. this version never expires and it works without a time limit (anyway, if you have important datas you MUST register: do you want to risk using a not-registered program after the expiry-date? You can never know what could happen...).
