PHILIPPINES VS PUERTO RICO

3 December 2005 - From 10 to 7 and now the final 2. After the viewers have seen all the Vote For me Specials, 2 delegates are left for the PC's Most Popular Delegate Award. Not Surprisingly that the final 2 are Miss Philippines, Carlene Aguilar and Puerto Rico, Ingrid Rivera. The question now is whether they will share this award? This year in Miss Universe, Canada, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico shared this award while Brazil, Chile, Dominican Republic, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, USA and Venezuela shared this award in Miss Earth. However Venezuela is the only one who won this award independently in Miss International 2005.

Week 3 of Competition had conclude. In Zone 1, our award recipient Miss Philippines leads this zone. The 2nd place for Miss World 2005 will be a toss up between Sri Lanka, hostess Miss China and Miss India. The amount of votes between them are 10 votes. Completing the Top 5 is the winner of Best Musical Act in the Talent Competition, Miss Japan.

No Changes in ranking have occur in Zone 2 with Iceland leading the way. Same delegates in Top 5 in Zone 3 but nobody came close  to edge out 2nd place Miss Spain. However Albania and Lebanon are now tie in 3rd place. While Bosnia & Herzegovina struggle with her top 5 position.

Premiere this week for Vote for me specials, the Caribbean zone open with full of personalities and smiles. Our 2nd award recipient Miss Puerto Rico leads this zone and have conclude this group as the Zone most popular delegate. The last time this Zone win Miss World was way back in 1993 won by Jamaica's Lisa Hanna. Could Puerto Rico win this year?

The Americas Zone had 2 recipient previously. Sadly they lost some important votes to receive this award. Leading in this Zone is the current Miss Asia Pacific, Miss Costa Rica. Canada have to settle for 2nd place while Mexico is still trying to edge out Miss Canada. Venezuela moves up a notch through her sexy looks and Peru sweet look gains some votes.

Finally the most unpredictable Zone have show case their Vote for me special and Namibia still leads the way. Only one changes have occurred which Botswana gained more points than Nigeria.

26 November 2005 - The world have decide that 7 delegates should win PC's Most Popular Delegate Award. After receiving the global votes, only 7 delegates remains the top recipients of this award. They are Canada, Costa Rica, Iceland, Italy, Namibia, Puerto Rico and Philippines which they all receive 200 votes.

Concluding Week 2 of competition, Miss Philippines still lead the Asian pacific Zone. After viewing the zone's U-decide segment, some delegates received more votes then the others. In Zone 1 Australia and China lose some important votes from the viewers while India, Sri Lanka and Japan gains the most points to make their mark in their Zone Top 5 Favorites.

While in Zone 2, the Top 5 remain supreme with the viewers. Norway gains more popularity through her personality in the U-decide Segment and now she edges out Switzerland and Russia who now rank 4th and 5th respectively.

Zone 3 also had their U-decide Segment premiere this week and a lot of reshuffle within the group. Italy still remain as the top favorite from this group and Spain is still trailing behind her. Albania is back in the top 5 and now ranked 3rd in this group while Miss Lebanon's fans votes more for her after she was slammed out of the Top 5 previously. Bosnia & Herzegovina had makes the world to appreciate her beauty and personality after viewing the show.

The rest of the Zones have yet to premiere their U-decide Show. However they are still some favorites from each zone. In Zone 4 Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic still the Top 2 favorites to advance from this group. American Virgin Islands are now the 3rd favorite after she won the Best Singing Act in the Talent Competition while Martinique and Trinidad & Tobago have to settle for 4th and 5th place.

This is the only zone which share the 1st place in this award. Miss Canada and Costa Rica are the Zone 5 top favorites. Mexico had gain back her popularity which end her in 3rd place while Venezuela reclaimed the 5th spot.

With limited pictures and information, the Zone 6 delegates have yet to please the viewers. In this Zone, Miss Namibia hails her position up high while South Africa remains as the runner-up. Ethiopia gain back her top 5 placement. Nigeria and Botswana still surviving in the Top 5.

Next week a whole lots of changes will take place as the remain zones will either impress the viewers or vice-versa.
