Start to See When You Stop
Towards
morning when you’re out walking
and
the light starts to change -
stop
and look around you.
It
doesn’t matter where you are -
you
don’t have to be in some Antipodean bower
or
Scottish sylvan, a city or town will do -
but
stop and a funny thing will start to happen,
you’ll
see yourself in what’s about you.
It’s
really not as corny as it sounds.
Coming
home you’ll realise it too,
and
if nothing changes don’t worry,
and if all Hell breaks loose, go with it.
