Welcome to the Samhain 2006 Edition of the PPP. Yes I know, this looks awfully like the OLD pagan poetry pages!

NEWS! The Yule Competition!

That's because we had a bit of a disater with our site! Evil gremlins attacked the web hoster and it took us down with them.

All the PPP archives are safely backed up so don't worry.

But we are taking the opportunity to upgrade the site anyway and make it a lot more efficient. So we'll have temporary boards up soon and after that a shiny new site!

So in the meantime we had to rescue this edition and thanks to the sterling efforts of our members we not only did just that but we made a bloody good edition too!

Howevre in true poetic style our esteemed editor Stormy has composed an ode to teh tragedy that was the last week

We editors are excited to present a new poetic voice, Ted Sludds. Ted is a poet from Wexford, Ireland and further examples of his work can be found in the Electric Publications Poetry Anthology "Where the Hazel Falls"

Ted's poems form our Big Collection this month and he is joined by poets such as:

MerlinBeag, whose selection brings humour and pathos in equal measure

Sara Curran, preying on our night-time fears Joker who brings a different sense of Wintering, Margo Little who reminds us of the horror of old age wihtout auntonomy
