Explination I know, I know, you have a million questions, and if they don't get answered right now, you'll probably die. I know the feeling. First of all, an RPG is a Role Play Game. Most are based on a certain story line, some even on stories written and puplished by wonderful people who have never, ever heard of RPGs and RPing. This RPG is going to be based on a story the we the RPers write. The Livejournal is where everything (ie the setting, the capital city, the religion... everything!) will be made. I'll start everything, and we'll go from there. Don't feel bad if you missed the actual making of the place, you can still join! Just get someone to run through it with you really quickly, and you're set. Why the funny name? Pandrona di Magia means Mistress of Magic. If you've ever read The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradly, then you'll know why I find this title so intriquing. At the moment, it has nothing to do with the RP it self, but... who knows. |

Rules
So, rules. We all like rules, right? I mean, who doesn't?
First of all, I'd like to mention, that even if I don't like them, I know they're going to be here. Rules are nessesary to keep a place running, or we'd all go crazy. I'll try to keep them to a minimum, but I'm going to ask... If you have a problem with something I saw, talk to me personally. Don't go shouting around to everyone that I'm a horrible bitch, and you hate me. It's not going to change anything.
Alright, now that that's been said...
1. This is a fantasy setting. Please, no science fiction characters, or things that wouldn't occur in, say, an Aurther novel, or a Tamora Pierce. Any type of creatures that arn't human need to be varified before being puplished. That means any vampires, werewolves, etc will be regected. So sorry.
2. No one is better. If you feel that you are supierior to everyone, get out. I don't have time for people who are going to be "mean" or "unnice".
3. Drama is great, it really is, but having a new pregnancy, aboriton, marriage, relationship every week isn't fun. Hate to be the one to break it to you. An RP can be more then character relationships. Please try to keep it in mind that you can have fun without the sexual tention.
4. Character Limit. These are my two least favorite words. I hate to impose it, but when people have thirty odd characters in their first -month- of being in the RP... it's just impossible to keep up with it. I'm going to keep a character list, meaning any new characters and their profiles have to be emailed to me. For now I'm going to say two characters at the most in the first three months, and after that, no more then ten. |
